Accessibility statement
Accessibility on MORE SIM.fi
MORE SIM platform is committed to providing usable and accessible content to all of our users, including those with disabilities. The website meets the basic accessibility requirements, and we are taking steps to further improve it. We aim to meet the requirements of AA guidelines of the WCAG 2.1 standard and the recommendations of the Finnish Federation of the Visually Impaired.
The WCAG standard on accessibility is based on four basic principles: online services must be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. Each of these four principles includes guidelines and criteria that online services must meet.
Directive on web accessibility
The accessibility of digital services benefits all users. Promoting accessibility is an integral part of the digital transformation. The Directive on web accessibility and the national legislation issued under it require public authorities to ensure their digital services are accessible. The Finnish Government submitted to Parliament a proposal for an act on the provision of digital services on 3 May 2018. Accessibility requirements will be gradually phased in starting on 3 October 2019.
