LEVITOI
LEVITOI project supports the adaptation of climate change by developing new forestry and agriculture machines and equipment for primary production
Vision
LEVITOI project research new ways to recognize and control the changes of soil that are caused by the climate change and impact the utility vehicles and machines. Similarly, how different platforms effect the utility vehicle and soil productivity and how sensor technology can be used in analysis, is being researched.
LEVITOI uses field experiments to investigate how different technical solutions can be implemented and what is their effect for the productivity and operational capacity of utility vehicles.
Objectives
LEVITOI project develops new equipment and machinery for forestry and agriculture sectors to solve the issues that climate change adoption brings. The project also aims at improving the competence and expertise related to these machines.
As research objectives the project is interested in soil capacity measurement, the effectiveness of the machines, soil productivity and sustainability, real-time simulations for different soils and tires/wheels, as well as using simulations in business. The results are aimed to be used in business activities and developing new services and products for the related industries.
